What Sam Buys

Lush is my Target

Everyone jokes that they go into Target for one thing and end up leaving the store with a basket filled with stuff. Well that’s me at Lush lol.  This past week I finally collected enough black pots to trade in for a free fresh face mask. I made my boyfriend come with me on this trip because let’s be real: I need someone to help me control myself when I’m there.

Luckily for me, I’ve converted him to the dark side and was conveniently running low on a couple of things heh heh heh. So I took this as an opportunity to have a little shopping spree to restock on essentials and try some products I’ve been eyeing. Thank God I worked overtime last week!

I love taking baths. It’s one of the ways I decompress from a stressful day at work and relax. I take at least one a week and needed to restock my bath bomb supply.

Left: Sakura, Middle: Cheer Up Buttercup, Right: Sex Bomb

I’ve never tried Cheer Up Buttercup or Sex Bomb, so I’m excited to use them because they both smell so good. I think I might have used Sakura before, but it’s been a while, and I’m itching to go back to Japan. Any opportunity that’ll bring back the mems, I’ll take.

I introduced my boyfriend to Ocean Salt and now it’s one of his favorite things to use in the shower. I’m using Rub Rub Rub in my shower, and I gotta say, even though I enjoy the perfumed floral scents of RRR, I miss the coarseness and smell of Ocean Salt. It’s on my list of things to get!

My boyfriend is a bearded man, so we picked up Kalamazoo for him, and he loves it. It smells good, so I love it, too.

Speaking of love, Love Lettuce is probably my favorite fresh face mask I’ve tried so far (and it was free with my five empty black tubs!) I went a little wild these past couple of months and wanted to try every fresh face mask I could. Needless to say my face didn’t really appreciate it. I became self conscious about my pores, so one of the employees suggested I use this. So far so good!

The samples btw are for Boom! toothy tab and Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, which I tried and isn’t that bad. Def good for traveling!

Happy Happy Joy Joy is my favorite conditioner from them. The smell? Irresistible. Feet? Not so much. So we picked up T for Toes for someone’s feet and shoes. The world will be better for it. The solid shampoo bar is Godiva. If you love jasmine as much as I do, you’ll die over how good it smells. Yuzu and Cocoa is being discontinued so we restocked. It also reminds me of Japan, so that’s a no-brainer.

New is a new hair mask that I wanted to try out. Pumice Power is for our cracked and dirty feet. It smells great and makes your feet feel like a baby’s bottom. I used it the other night and wouldn’t stop rubbing my feet together in bed. If you get one thing, get this!

As I type this, I’ve come to realize that I’m running low on my facial moisturizer, so I’ll have to come back either this weekend or next week. Hopefully I leave with what I came in for unlike this go-around. Doubt it, but I can dream. Do you shop at Lush? What are your favorite products? Let me know in the comments!
